PPC contextual advertising is the most popular form of advertising today with thousands of websites carrying Google Adsense ads, but there are many  disadvantages in this form of advertising for both the advertisers and the publishers. For advertisers the disadvantages are:
1. Click fraud
2. Visitors may click on a link out of curiosity, but not be interested in the product or service.
3. High cost of getting a visitor to the website , can be more than a few dollars
4. Setting up an advertising campaign can be complicated, and some times costs can soar if the keywords are not selected properly.

1. PPC networks - Google Adwords
2. Banner advertising
3. Text links

All these forms of advertising have certain advantages and disadvantages, which can be improved.
